Making it through the Holiday Season


Contemplating how you are going to make it through this holiday season? So am I. 
I love the holiday season while simultaneously freaking out about all of the things I need/want to get done. I find it hard to be present in these key moments of my daughter’s childhood when I’m making long lists of things to buy, shoving gifts in strange places to hide them (then worrying about if I’ll remember where I stashed them) and fretting about if my once-a-year holiday outfit will fit.

Over the years, I have found that I have a few go-to techniques for combatting the holiday stress:

- Chocolate, candy & cookies (the more the merrier)
- Cocktails (doesn’t have to be fancy, a bubbly water mixed with a shot or two will do)
- Creating funny designs on my ipad (admittedly the healthiest option on this list)
